The most influential time of life for a puppy is between 8-16 weeks of age . During this time they very quickly pick up on good and bad learning experiences. Unfortunately, in the UK thousands of dogs every year aren't given the opportunity to learn during this critical time. It is much easier to teach your puppy correctly from the start rather than trying to reverse an undesired learned behaviour later in life.
It is difficult to socialise a puppy at this important age because they are too young to go into public areas such as parks. Our puppy parties are held in a safe environment and because the other puppies are of the same age it is less intimidating for them than meeting with adult dogs in unfamiliar surroundings.
Our parties are also for you to ask any questions that you may have, and to learn preventative health care and training tips from a qualified veterinary nurse. We have two puppy parties a month, one at Henley and one at Twyford.
After your new puppy has had their 1st vaccination (usually done at 8 weeks), you will be invited to the next available party.
